Airline companies have alleged that Ahmedabad airport has increased ground handling charges by more than 10 times. The Airport Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA), the agency that decides the airport tariff, issued a notice in this regard on Friday evening. The authority said that it is illegal to impose charges and tariffs without its approval. The authority said that some airport operators are charging without taking approval, which is not right.
